This past December, numerous members of Alpha Phi participated in the Arlington National Cemetery Wreath-Laying Ceremony for the second year in a row, joining hundreds of volunteers from the DC area. As part of the Wreaths Across America Project, the Arlington National Cemetery Wreath-Laying Ceremony adorns the headstones of fallen troops with 24,000 holiday wreaths in order to commemorate their service and remember their sacrifice during the holiday season. Members of Alpha Phi, alongside members of Sigma Chi and Phi Sigma Sigma, each placed a holiday wreath on the grave of a fallen solider. It was a solemn yet extremely memorable occasion, and the members of Alpha Phi enjoyed the opportunity to unite with the greater DC community.
